About Towsafe
Towsafe has been established since 1975 by Kelvin who began his career originally working as an apprentice for an Aircraft Manufacturers in Weybridge, Vickers, as an Engineer.
After working for Vickers for ten years, Kelvin’s very close friend needed some help with his trailer business. After some persuasion, Kelvin set up his business fitting towbars and became one of the first Mobile Towbar Fitting Companies in the UK!
Over the years the industry has seen many changes; first, we had lots of caravan fittings, then it changed to small luggage trailers, and now bike racks are very popular.
Not only does Kelvin supply and fit towbars, but he also fits and installs full electrical systems and any towbar related products such as ball & pins, twin electrics, single-socket electrics, fridge and battery relays, manufacturers’ wiring kits and OS wiring kits.
In Kelvin’s spare time he is a family man with a daughter, and when he gets the chance (and the weather is right) he is a keen sailor, loving nothing more than getting out on the open sea (having once sailed to the Caribbean).
Kelvin is very passionate about his trade, and a lovely genuine smile will always welcome you – the ethos of the business has always been to serve clients with the utmost in care and attention, ensuring everybody is happy, which is what’s made Kelvin’s customers return time and time again.
